The Pink Apple Award will be awarded by an independent jury of experts. Films submitted for the film contest must not be older than 2 years, and should be Swiss premiers if possible. They should captivate their audience and should be adequately crafted.
Donat Blum has been part of „Queersicht“-Filfestivals organizing team since 2008 and is one of its co-presidents. He also is a writer at the Swiss Institute for Literature in Biel, a representative for relief organisations during asylum hearings and a project leader for OrangeCinema Berne. He studied interreligious studies at the University of Berne.
Lukas Egger grew up in a small village in the Canton of Obwalden. After training as an equipment manufacturer at Pilatus Company in Stans, he studied at the HGK in Zurich, earning his diploma in 2007 with the film „ Landleben “ („Country Life “). He now lives and works as a freelance film director in Zurich.
Claudia Lorenz grew up in Argentina and Switzerland. She studied photography and later film at the HGK in Zurich. Her diploma film „Hoi Maya“ (2004) attracted international attention. She works as an editor and lecturer at the ZHdK. Currently she is working on a script for her first full-length feature film.
Judith Schönenberger is a lecturer for art and design as well as being a freelance photographer. In her art she addresses questions concerning gender identity. She has showed numerous exibitions in Switzerland and abroad. She lives with her partner and their one and a half year-old daughter in Berne. www.diefotografin.ch
